The new 2017- 2018 CCRJT continued with Round 2 of the inaugural
Central Coast Nitro Challenge on 16 September
at the Regional Athletics Centre.

It was great to see Peter Williams back on the track after his stroke,
he said he would be back and competing and here he is!

He took on the kids in the ‘chippy race’.

The big hit of the day was the throws Funky Relay.
There were nearly as many throwers as sprinters.
Many took the opportunity to have a go and try out the three throws.

The Central Waves took out the day but could not catch the
Southern Beaches in the overall points score.
The Northern Lakes made move on the second placed
Central Waves boosted by increased participation
and a smart Captain’s decision that combined
the Captain’s Power Play with the Secret Power Play.

The point score after Round 2 is:
