| Gatorade Race nights continue in popularity and tonites new combo of 5000m / 1500m and 100m proved popular. Mark Warren 15.11 and Jess Mitchell 18.19 no suprise in taking line honours. Cale Bowd 15.16 a close second to Mark and Alyssa Betts 18.37 2nd for the gals. Some big results and personal bests in the 5km came from the young guns Angus Baldwin 16.38; Charlie Brooks 16.45; Toby Cracknell 16.53, and Therese Auton 19.03. In the 1500m Matt Baker 4.22 had his work cut out for him with Byron Cavendar 4.23 racing down to the line, Sho Omura 4.34 not far off the pace in 3rd. Linda Padgett moved up from her favourite 800m to run a great time of 5.07 and take the win for the gals. Nick Martin 12.8 and Bethany Kranendonk 14.9 took the blue ribbons in the 100m. |
