A great turn out for the club at this years Road Relays in Wollongong achieved two silver medal teams. A long drought for the old gals saw Julie Peksis, Trudy Rae, Sally Hunt and Marg Beardslee on the podium with a narrow win over Nowra. The mens U20 team of Charlie Brooks, Angus Baldwin, Sho Omura and Toby Cracknell were always strong chance and happily lived up to expectations.
Other teams as usual put the team spirit in place and enjoyed the chance to participate together. The Mens B45 team very happy to stay ahead of the womens 45's!! Young Nicole Murphy anchored the make up team and came into the finish through a tunnel of her well wishing clubmates.
No rest for athletes as they head this weekend to the State short course XC at Upjohn Pk Rydalmere. The following Thursday State XC for our School athletes.. |
